A Girl's Guide to Moving On (New Beginnings #2) by Debbie Macomber - I really recommend this book!

A Girl's Guide to Moving On (New Beginnings #2) by Debbie Macomber (Goodreads Author) This book was a fabulous read. It really did have a realistic touch of something everyone would understand anyone who has ever been through a divorce, a cheating husband, whether the kids are grown and gone or you are struggling to move on with small children at home. To move on with a suddenly different life that doesn’t include some of the niceties you enjoyed while having that cheating husband at home with you. The money coming in is no longer enough. The friends all feel as if they have to choose sides. You find you are really no longer welcomed in places you used to frequent often. You may have to make new friends or take another job to make ends meet, and some people having worked in years so they don’t have skills they would need to live as they once did. You also have the completely different world when it comes to dating, if you haven’t dated in 30 years you have no clue, if you have kids at home and are working extra to make ends meet. Dating is almost impossible for those people, ie; when do you have the time to date, and what will your kids think of anyone they see you spending time with. These are just a few things that happen, to all kinds of people, from all walks of life. This book will hit home to a lot of readers, and it is so well written and there is so much you will find yourself thinking about long after you have closed the last page. It is a great book and I give it five stars, I love the cover and love the content. A great read for people from all walks of life!

More About The book: In this powerful and uplifting novel from #1 New York Timesbestselling author Debbie Macomber, a mother and her daughter-in-law bravely leave their troubled marriages and face the challenge of starting over. Leaning on each other, Nichole and Leanne discover that their inner strength and capacity for love are greater than they ever imagined. When Nichole discovers that her husband, Jake, has been unfaithful, the illusion of her perfect life is indelibly shattered. While juggling her young son, a new job, and volunteer work, Nichole meets Rocco, who is the opposite of Jake in nearly every way. Though blunt-spoken and rough around the edges, Rocco proves to be a dedicated father and thoughtful friend. But just as their relationship begins to blossom, Jake wagers everything on winning Nichole back—including their son Owen’s happiness. Somehow, Nichole must find the courage to defy her fears and follow her heart, with far-reaching consequences for them all. Leanne has quietly ignored her husband’s cheating for decades, but is jolted into action by the echo of Nichole’s all-too-familiar crisis. While volunteering as a teacher of English as a second language, Leanne meets Nikolai, a charming, talented baker from Ukraine. Resolved to avoid the heartache and complications of romantic entanglements, Leanne nonetheless finds it difficult to resist Nikolai’s effusive overtures—until an unexpected tragedy tests the very fabric of her commitments. An inspiring novel of friendship, reinvention, and hope, A Girl’s Guide to Moving On affirms the ability of every woman to forge a new path, believe in love, and fearlessly find happiness. I won this book through Random House’s newsletter contest. They run the contests I’m sure in hopes that the winner will write a review of the book and get word out, so I am going to do that review as I always do when I receive a free book. Then I donate them to the library in Linden Iowa where my Mom volunteers time. The library has a very small budget.
