I
really liked this book. It was moving
along well, kept my attention, had me wanting to keep reading to see what was
happening next. I really like reading
Jean Brashear’s books, she writes engaging stories that make you want to see
them to the end. Also you are
disappointed when the book is done. This
book was about a Mom who couldn’t leave
a kid in the system once she became a foster mother. Who isn’t going to be in her corner? She has a secret. She was to follow Gib years ago out of high
school but she didn’t she called him and said she didn’t love him and that she
wasn’t coming. She married someone
else. He died. She has one child that is hers and three that
are adopted. Gib came to town because he
thought she was still living elsewhere and wasn’t going to be someone he would
run into when he came back to see his parents at their request for
Christmas. Little did he know his entire life was about to be turned
upside down.
I
received this book from Netgalley.com in exchange for an honest review.
