This was quite the love story.
It hit Cecilia Morgan (long before it hit her boss Wade Carter) but
worked she for him cleaning up his messes running at two am for things, being
at his beck and call as his personal assistant.
He was self-centered and took her for granted. When he decided he was going back to his home
town to write the book about his life, she sure didn’t want to go. She had decided to end her employment with
him, but his Father’s health faded and he had to go back home and help with the
farm. For Wade’s Father CC decided she
would stay, for a while. When she gave
Wade notice, her bombshell hit him like a bomb.
He couldn’t quite wrap his head around her telling him no, she is the
only one who ever had. He got her back
to his home in Credence Colorado and the bickering really started, they were
like an old married couple. He finally
figured out he didn’t want her leaving.
So when she does how does he get her back? Do something she’ll never see coming!
This is quite the yarn, a well-played dance between the two,
before they both realize they are in love with the other. Will he be too late? You’ll have to read the book. It is really a
good read!
